This was one of the pies I made at Christmas. Since we have several family members who are diabetic or on diets, I made it with Sugar Free Jello (strawberry), a sugar free graham cracker crust, and Cool Whip Light . It was easy to make, tasted great, and several requested the recipe.

So easy to make! Very light dessert especially after a large meal. I used orange jello and it tasted just like an orange creme-sicle

My family loves this pie. I make diffrent flavors, but my fave is peach. I usually add canned peach for added flavor. The the person with the chunks of jello, you let the gelatin set too much before you added the whip cream. Try adding it sooner. This pie it totally worth it!!

I tried it with the regular and sugar-free jello and the sugar-free jello sets faster and firmer. Both were really good though.

When I mixed the jello with the cool whip it did not smooth out. It ended up being chunks of jello covered in cool whip on a graham cracker crust. I'm not sure what went wrong, but I probably wouldn't make it again, because it didn't turn out how I was expecting.
