This was absolutely scrumptious and I even substituted the sugar with Splenda. It was the perfect amount of sweetness and the entire group loved it. I had to give the recipe to 2 of my guests. I will be making it from now on, even for an evening meal at home with just the 2 of us. We love leftovers.

This was OK, the pears were too crisp, but if I baked it any longer, the top would have burned. My parents liked it, but my husband and I weren't very impressed. We'd rather make apple pie.

I made this recipe at work. I am a pastry chef at a hospital. I used canned pears and it still was very good!

I improvised this recipe as well - I used fresh chranberry/orange sauce with the pears and found it very good. The cranberrys added a bit of tart to the crisp. try - it, I'm sure you'll like it

Nice change from apple crisp. I thought it was easy to make however I had a hard time finding the cereal so I improvised. In any case it turned out great. Even my husband enjoyed it and he usually doesn 't eat dessert.

I made this recipe again with a twist this time since I didn't have pears I instead used peaches also instead of flour I again used oatmeal maybe I kind of made a new recipe but it tasted really great better than last time this time I used Post almond honey bunches of oats with some raisins added. I served myself the first serving hot plan to have my friend try the leftover I am sure he may like this

This was fabulous! I used about 3/4 cup of flour and 3/4 cup of brown sugar and about 1 1/2 cups of the cereal. It also took almost a whole stick of margarine. This made more of the "crisp" in the recipe, and it was so wonderful! I'd absolutely make it again!
