I love it - It is a great hit during the 4th of July. I am asked to make it every 4th of July. My kids also ask that I make them one too, so they can take it to parties.

I have been making this cake now for the last 4 years...I am now known as the lady that brings the flag cake....it is a wonderful recipe...very colorful and tasteful....this year instead of using the frozen cake I baked a box cake....wonderful...if you are not in a hurry next time try it...kids love it....thanks for this recipe it is a winner

I have been making this recipie for the 4th since it first came out. It is WONDERFUL!! Everyone always raves! The one difference I make is using angel food cake instead of pound cake, light and refreshing! This year I'm going to try using the Wave Your Flag Cake recipie and add a layer of Jello! From the reviews I've read, should be another hit!! Thanks Kraft!

Instead of useing jello I used pound cake for the bottom layer.
