This is the most luscious, chocolatey cookie ever! The addition of peanut butter makes it even more decadent. A must try!

The preparation of this recipe was more involved than I expected. I may have been trying to multi-task....but I would not go through the effort again, albeit they were amazingly Chocolatey!
i love this cookies with tea.i enjoy it while watching nice movie.
These are the best chocolate cookies ever - the gals in my craft group, most of whom don't let sugar cross their lips very often, wolfed them down.
Read other comments, made a few changes. Added more flour, baked less, omitted nuts added morsels and made with morsels just because I didn't have the chocolate squares. Rich and fudgey. If you are creative, you can play with the base of the recipe like I did, but I am like that. Did notice, dries out quickly, so add a piece of bread to keep soft, I will try that next time.
Were good right out of the oven but dry the following day - coffee and/or milk was a necessity. We'll try again with less time in the oven.
Oh my! These were amazing. My husband loves dark chocolate and since these are very chocolaty and not as sweet they are probably his favorite cookie now. I had to leave the walnuts our by request of some famiy members but I would love to try them with the walnuts sometime. We'll definately be having them again.
they had a good flavor but were very hard to make as cookies because they were very doughy even after extra cooking time. I found them easier to be made as bars.
They are very rich (dangerous to have sitting around), but delicious.
The cookie is excellent. However, I was stunned at the runny mixture the recipe produced. I figured the flour measurement was an error & kept adding flour until I had a "dough". I used just 1 cup of peanuts & may use less next time. I found the cookie to be addicting. Everyone who has tried them has loved them!
My Hubby thought they were the best chocolate cookies I have ever made and I have been baking for 45 years & made alot of cookies during that time because I have 3 grandchildren also that love cookies.
