I'm very pleased with this dish , as well as my family. We have home made Mac.& cheese at least once a week, Instead of potatoes.

The recipe was very good, and the fat is reduced from what it would be if you didn't use light cheese or fat free milk. However, it still has quite a lot of fat and calories and isn't really good for anyone trying to watch their figure.

I've been making this for years and I add chopped green chili and chopped polska kielbasa sausage. I serve it as the main dish and get many compliments.

At 320 Calories it is not what I call healthy, and 7g of fat...it is just not a healthy recipe by any means

This receipe has been in my boyfriends for years. His mom doesn't use processed cheese. We just use and 8oz block of our favorite kind. One huge bowl will be gone very fast between just my boyfrined and I.

This recipe made a very creamy and cheesy main dish. Hard to believe it was low cal.
