Southern Fried Chicken recipe
Made this chicken last night for dinner and my family really loved it. This will definitely replace KFC and Popeyes.

MY FAMILY LOVED IT! CHANGED A BIT I SOAKED IN BUTTERMILK INSTEAD OF THE EGG MILK DIP AND LEFT OUT THE CAYENNE BUT DID THE REST THE SAME. MY SON WANTS THIS EVERY DAY. I MIGHT TRY THIS ON SKINLESS BONELESS CHICKEN BREATS. ANY ONE TRY IT YET?

This was the best fried chicken recipe I have ever made. The coating was crispy and spicy. My husband licked his plate clean.

The recipe was overall very good. I would add more corn flakes next time.

I added a touch of my own personal seasoning. My husband loved it considering he doesn't like a corn flake style covering. Big hit and will deffinately fix it again!

This was a great recipe. the only thing I did was marinate the chicken for about 45 minutes in my own house seasoning. Fabulous.

i was taught by mymother to make fried chicken and she was taught by her mom who was from north carolina.they never used corn flakes. but it added some crispyness to it.it was very good.i turn the heat down to 200 as well so it would cook all the way through for those bigger peices of chicken

Never attempted fried chicken before this and I must admit, this recipe has become a regular menu item. I switched the cayenne pepper for dry italian or ranch flavoring which also works great.
