What You Need

1-1/2

lb. lean ground beef

large green pepper, chopped

large onion, chopped

clove garlic, minced

Tbsp. chili powder

can (14-1/2 oz.) diced tomatoes, undrained

1/2

cup water

can (15.5 oz.) kidney beans, drained

1/3

cup A.1. Original Steak Sauce

Make It

BROWN meat with peppers, onions and garlic in large saucepan. Stir in chili powder; cook and stir 1 min.

STIR in tomatoes and water. Bring to boil; cover. Simmer on low heat 15 min., stirring occasionally.

ADD beans and steak sauce; mix well. Simmer, covered, 5 min.

this chili was very good, my husband said A.1. was a different flavor. A.1. made this chili a little sweet.

this chili is fantastic, i've never made chili before and this was simple and delicious...i made it a little thicker by adding a flour and water mixture, served with cornbread on a rainy night for dinner husband and 2 yr old daughter loved it.. Thank you!

My family loves chili, but I had never made it before. This recipe looked simple enough for a first timer so I tryed it. I used less onion & will omit the kidney beans next time, but the chili turned out great & I am planning on making it again soon!
