GREAT CHILI - like I always wanted homemade chili to turn out! I did add, though, 1/2 t. of cumin and 1/2 t. of ground chipotle powder for a little heat (I'm sure you could use ground cayenne as well). I have made it with both ground beef and ground turkey, and they both turned out great! I use dried onion flakes (1/3 cup) instead of the raw onion (personal preference). I also use canned soy beans to watch the carbs, but added approx. 1 t. of salt as they usually are canned with no sodium added. (A plus for the soy beans is they have much less of an "after effect" if you know what I mean!) GREAT CHILI!!!
