What You Need

1-1/2

lb. lean ground beef

large green pepper, chopped

large onion, chopped

clove garlic, minced

Tbsp. chili powder

can (14-1/2 oz.) diced tomatoes, undrained

1/2

cup water

can (15.5 oz.) kidney beans, drained

1/3

cup A.1. Original Steak Sauce

Make It

BROWN meat with peppers, onions and garlic in large saucepan. Stir in chili powder; cook and stir 1 min.

STIR in tomatoes and water. Bring to boil; cover. Simmer on low heat 15 min., stirring occasionally.

ADD beans and steak sauce; mix well. Simmer, covered, 5 min.

GREAT CHILI! I ADDED A LITTLE EXTRA CHILI POWDER. THE A-1 SAUCE GAVE IT LOTS OF ZEST!!

An excellent change on an old classic! My husband is not a fan of chili and my daughter refuses to eat it at all. After eating A-1 Chili, both my husband and daughter have announced it will be the ONLY chili in this house -- ha-ha! It is different from any chili I have ever eaten, but very good. Most recipes I love to "tweek", but this one doesn't really need "tweeking". A-1 Chili will become a regular in this house!

I have been trying to find a good chili recipe for my husband for quite some time...this is it! I added extra garlic, spices such as celery salt, seasoned salt, and granulated garlic. I also put in a can of tomato sauce to make it less thick! It was a hit! My husband loved it!

Loved this chili, except I substituted black beans with additional seasonings. My husband loves A1 and he was so surprised when he tasted this chili. I plan on making it for the super bowl -
