Hearty Buckaroo Beans

Delicious! Seasonsed meat with smoked paprika and season salt. Added diced japalenos and 1/2 can diced tomatoes. Used double amount of beans - perfect! Thanks Kraft!!!!

pkg. (12 oz.) OSCAR MAYER Center Cut Bacon, cut into 1-inch pieces

lb. ground beef

medium onion, chopped

cans (15 oz. each) baked beans

1/3

cup firmly packed brown sugar

Tbsp. vinegar

Tbsp. BULL'S-EYE Original Barbecue Sauce

clove garlic, chopped

Make It

PREHEAT oven to 350°F. Cook bacon in large skillet until crisp; drain. Set aside.

BROWN ground beef in same skillet on medium heat; drain. Add onion; cook until crisp-tender, stirring occasionally. Add bacon and remaining ingredients; mix well. Spoon into 2-quart casserole dish; cover.

BAKE 45 minutes.

I liked it really well my husband didnt like it as much as i did, I gave it a 4 and he gave it a 3. The kids enjoyed it. I also made a vegetarian version.

A friend had this at a dinner recently and everyone raved about it! I didn't get a chance to get the recipe and when I found it on the Kraft site I was thrilled! This is a great twist on traditional baked beans!
