Creamy Pesto Pasta Salad

This is seriously the best and easiest pesto you can make. I add 1/2ed grape tomatoes and some shredded parm cheese to the top and its the 1st salad gone every time. I never want to tell anyone how I made it so they think I slaved away at it

I made this recipe for a family gathering last week, and it was a big hit! :) The pasta salad is super-easy to prepare, and tastes wonderful! I couldn't find oil-packed sun dried tomatoes at my market, so I substituted dry packed tomatoes, and they worked just fine. (Just plump them up in hot water for five minutes before chopping.) My oldest son does not like salads with mayonaisse or tangy vineager dressings...he really loved this delicious salad with its pesto dressing. :) This pasta salad is also delicious served on top of a tossed green salad or just on a bed of plain lettuce...yum! :)

My daughter made this recipe for a luncheon we were giving for a friend. It was so good, everyone, even the men asked for the recipe. We loved it, and I will definitely make it again soon.

This recipe is the BEST pasta salad you will ever make. It is extremely easy and taste like a million bucks. It has a gourmet look and taste to it that is just out of this world. I make this sometimes for potlucks or back yard BBQ's and it is always a hit. The biggest challenge is keeping my husband, and myself, from eating it all before we leave the house!
