Our Girl Scout troop made this cookie. The trick is to sort the Lifesavers by flavor-only using one flavor at a time. We also frosted the sugar cookie with vanilla frosting for a more decorative look and adding sprinkles to match the Lifesaver center. Planning on making this cookie again!

The cookie part was okay, but using the life-savers for the stained glass part didn't mix well flavorwise for the cookie. I will probably make them again, but I think I would substitute a creme flavored candy in place of the tart ones. It won't be as vibrant a "stained glass", but I think would be more acceptable to the taste.

These cookies were very easy to make. I just didn't like the cookie part. They kind of tasted like biscuits to me and then the center was really really sweet and tart. It was..... different.

Very pretty, and very fun. Instead of using stars within stars, I used a glass to cut out large circles, and cut out stars, trees, etc inside the circles. The hard candy center is a little strange, though.

We made these cookies in cooking class. We used Jolly Ranchers and Life Savers and voted on the best kind. The Jolly Ranchers were better. I guess They Go with the cookie. But they were both very good. Thank you for this recipe! I Give it 4.
