For a fun family activity, fill the centers of cutout cookies with crushed hard candies. The candies melt during baking to resemble stained glass.

I didn't have much luck with this one. The melted candy stuck to the cookie sheet and ruined the cookies. It is a cool idea though. I wish they would've turned out.

These were very fun to make! I didn't have a problem removing them from the pan. We might have preferred a sweeter cookie taste but they are so pretty.

These are pretty but they take some time to make. They taste good, just make sure you don't over bake them because they are thin.

I didn't really care for these much. The kids ate them, but we all agreed, they tasted ALOT like grahm crackers...I would definately make them on really well greased cookie sheet, or parchment paper. I made them on parchment paper and had to let them cool for a while before removing because of the candy.

These were a nice change from my normal sugar cookies. I tried the first dozen on my "normal" cookie sheet, but then the rest on my pampered chef stoneware. They came out great! Not too brown, but the candies were fully melted. I really like the honey in this recipe, too.

It is a fun recipe - just DON'T FORGET TO CRUSH the candies! Otherwise you'll have darker cookies with unmelted candies!

I usually have a lot of trouble with sugar cookies -- they never turn out the way I want them to -- but this recipe is awesome! Easy to roll out and cut out. The honey in the recipe gives the cookies a nice zing to the flavor. My tips: Don't wait for the candy to melt completely; pull them out of the oven while they're still not quite smooth. They'll finish melting during carry over cooking. This way you won't over bake them! Also, spray the foil lightly with cooking spray. The cookies will come off so easily!
