I like the fact that it was so easy to make and a healthy desert for my family.

My mother has made this for me since I was a little girl. It's one of my favorite dessert/snacks!

We tweak our version, too. We used the pastel mini marshmallows, and substituted a can of drained mandarin oranges (that I cut in half) for the chopped pecans. It was a hit at our holiday table.

This recipe was great! It was a family favorite during the Christmas Holiday. When I first saw it, I beleived that this wouldn't be a great thing to eat. But, I guess I was wrong. Looks are decieving. I surely will make this again. But instead of using regular ingrediants, I used Sugar-free when I could since two people in my household are diabetic.

This dish is easy to make and everyone always enjoys it. It has become a family tradition to always include a watergate salad at the dinner table during the holidays.

This was excellent. I tweeked the recipe a little. I used the whole tub of Cool-Whip and used 2-8 oz cans undrained crushed pineapple instead of 1-20 oz can. I also added a couple handfuls shredded coconut and a can of DRAINED mandarin orange slices to make it extra tropical. The family raved about it. Will def make again! Thanks Kraft!

My mother used to make this when I was a child. I never knew what it was called so after her death I didn't know how to make it. Then I saw it in the Food & Family magazine. Thank you so much for providing a recipe that brings back such wonderful memories.
