There is another way of making Watergate Salad. Instead of using mini marshmallows you can use lowfat cottage cheese. And since there a nuts in the pudding you dont have to add extra. Also use lowfat Cool Whip. It is great that way.

I have modified this recipe. I use all of the same things but I add a large tub to small curd cottage chese. I can eat this for all three meals and snacks, too.

This has been a favorite for years! I made it for the holidays and now my daughter makes it for holidays!! ALL THE RELATIVES INSIST THAT WE MAKE IT!! Everyone calls it the green stuff!

This recipe is great for bringing a dish, it's quick and easy. Also you mostly likely have the ingredients on hand. My family loves it, it's a pretty color to use aroung holidays.

I don't think that I would like the marshmellows in it because my husband doesn't like them. We do like the Cool Whip though and use ut all of the time.

I made this at Christmas and my son coudn't get enough of it. I doubled the recipie and he still wanted more.

this is one of my favorites done it many times before. i have even sub mandarin oranges for the pineapple
