i made the recipe just like it is, because we all like ranch dressing but used the slaw dressing and sour cream before but give your self a star this recipe won .

This recipe was great but I left out the pecans. The second time I made it I used that "prepared slaw dressing" and it was much better. Also, lots of black pepper.

This is a delightful salad (omitted the pecans since I didn't have any on hand). Next time I'm going to try sour cream rather than ranch dressing. Think that would be great too!

The only thing I changed was instead of almonds, I added bacon bits but it is still easy and excellent!
