These peppers were very tasty. The bacon and garlic really gave the peppers excellent flavour. I found out the hard way, that you really need to clean the inside of the peppers very well to avoid the "hotness". Leaving just a little bit of the membranes or seeds inside...spells EXTREME HEAT. Make sure you wash your hands very well after you clean the peppers, and before you touch anything esle. Overall, excellent taste, excellent appetizer. I will definately make these for my guests again.

I forgot the garlic, but this recipe was a hit at a friend's bbq this weekend. The boys even got off the couch for more.

They were a big hit. I kept some seeds in to keep them a little spicer. I also par-boiled them for 3 minutes so I wouldn't have to bake them too long. Will be making them for many parties.

We enjoy these, but i always use at least double the amount of cheddar. Also, the longer you bake the jalapenos, the milder they will be--just keep an eye on it toward the end so the filling stays in.

Very easy to make.

This recipe is delicious when served hot and even after being refrigerated. We used green peppers. The filling would be a great dip for crackers and chips as well.

You can make this recipe either nice and spicy or not spicy at all. To make it spicy, leave the membranes in the Jalapeno and a few seeds. It adds a nice kick to it.
