I couldn't imagine spreading straight cream cheese on my platter so I mixed a little of the BBQ sauce with it first. Bittersweet results - spread easily, tasted great, looked horrid. My tweak aside, it isn't nearly as pretty as the Kraft photo so a 'what-the-heck-is-that' name card on the dish would definitely help ease guests' hesitancy! Now the taste is fabulous, bbq bacon with crisp peppers and creamy cheese. I loved the flavor combination and I will surely make again, verbatim instructions this time!
