I used frozen rhubarb instead of fresh. Followed the recipe, but ended up with a runny, watery mess. Used HONEY instead of granulated sugar the 2nd time and it was excellent. So use honey if you are using frozen rhubarb.

This is a excellent Strawberry Rhubarb pie. I did add two ganny smith apples to it and it still was a excellent pie.

I grew up on strawberry-rhubarb pie but lost recipes over the years. Thank you for this one! This is such a good recipe, you'll find yourself making several trips to the fridge just to get another "sample".

From Wisconsin: I come from a long line of bakers. My father comes from a long line of eatters! He loved this pie and asked me bake one just for him! It is easy and really tasty. Thanks for all the other Rhubarb recipes too ... between my father & I we have three large plants!

I don't like rhubarb, but this pie is excellent. My husband likes it better than his mom's plain rhubarb pie(which is his favorite).
