There was much that needed to be done to this recipe to make it decent. It definitely needed the worcesterhire. Also added tomato paste and cooking sherry. It just didn't have the bite or tang that I expect out of a good strogonoff. I also used fresh mushrooms and sauted them with some onion in butter and sherry. The recipe ended up needing something else for flavor but I just couldn't figure out what it was. I would recommend cooking the noodles separately and adding them in the end. It took double the time to cook them and that's leaving the lid shut for the entire 12 minutes. I would make this again but only if I needed a quick recipe.

My husband and I made this last night. We used beef stew meat. Ours was not very creamy, but the flavor was phenomenal. We will definitely make this again. Next time, I think we might add some cream of Mushroom soup, but the recipe is perfect. I do suggest seasoning your meat. We did have to cook noodles just a few minutes longer (3 Mins). We served it with corn and garlic bread.

I just finished making this and took everyones advice and used a little Worcestershire with fresh Portobello mushrooms. I also used Beef consumme and beef broth..I also added a little lemon juice and noodles turned out done and dinner was delish...Could use Campbells Golden mushroom for even more flavor.

So good! I am very health conscious so I always use low sodium, low fat substitutes and wheat noodles. STILL EXCELLENT. I dislike mushrooms so I used beef broth instead. Only 4 stars becuase even though I followed other reviewers suggestions-add more water (I used an xtra can), add Worchershire-I still think I would add another can of broth and another tub of sour cream. And let it simmer uncovered longer. Make sure you cover the pan while simmering for the first 10 mins and STIR-the noodles will come out done-promise.

Awesome meal, very tasteful! The only thing I switched was I added another boullion cube and had to use a lot more water to get the noodles soft. Will save a make again!

The time is off for the cooking period. I noticed it took about 20 minutes til noodles were done.

I used ground beef that I'd cooked with onions and frozen earlier. Really good and fast! Love the addition of Worcestershire Sauce and fresh parsley.
