I made this dish for Cinco de Mayo, and I let each family member make there own plate, instead of one large dish. It was a HIT!!!!

enjoyed this quick and easy meal. My family loved it. I didn't use lean ground beef instead I used lean ground turkey and it truned out to be an amazing meal. Thanks Kraft.

Sometimes you just need a simple recipe to remind you how easy it all is. I like the salsa with the meat rather than a taco flavored spice mix, which sort of makes everything taste dry. Try a can of mexican tomatoes. It's basically salsa without the price tag. Buy a can for 50 cents! I agree with the comment on the corn, although I won't do it. It would have to be fresh, which is impossible! Although, on your vegi nachos, I really dig black beans, with refried beans, green onion, totatoes EVERYWHERE, avacado in big chunks (YUM!) and loads of cheese with some fresh chips.

for another vegetarian version, add Boca Ground Beef (frozen in every supermarket) as meat. Non-vegetarians will never know they ate boca-stuff! It really tastes real, and gives you peace of mind! For extra spice you might add thickly sliced garlic cloves sauteed in olive oil. Corn kernels might give some colour spots to it when added into.
