Cheesy Beef Nachos

What You Need

lb. lean ground beef

1/2

cup TACO BELL® Thick & Chunky Salsa

cups tortilla chips (4 oz.)

cup KRAFT Mexican Style Finely Shredded Four Cheese

1/4

cup chopped onions

1/4

cup chopped tomatoes

1/4

cup sliced jalapeño peppers

1/4

cup sliced black olives

1/4

cup guacamole

Make It

BROWN meat in skillet; drain. Stir in salsa; simmer 2 min., stirring occasionally.

ARRANGE chips on large microwaveable plate; top with meat mixture and cheese.

MICROWAVE on HIGH 2 to 3 min. or until cheese is melted, rotating plate after each minute. Top with remaining ingredients.

Substitute

Prepare using a leaner cut of ground beef, such as ground round or ground sirloin.

Meatless Nachos

Prepare as directed, omitting meat. Mix 1 cup TACO BELL® Refried Beans and 1/2 cup TACO BELL® Thick & Chunky Salsa. Top chips with bean mixture and cheese. Microwave as directed.

Cheesy Chicken Nachos

Prepare as directed, substituting 1 pkg. (6 oz.) OSCAR MAYER Deli Fresh Grilled Chicken Breast Strips, chopped, for the browned ground beef. Increase salsa to 1 cup.

This just gave me an idea for my own nacho's. I used 4 oz of velveta a handful of taco meat that was left over from the night before and about 1/4 cup of salsa and threw it all in a pan it turned out to be a great dip for chips and also a great toping on the nacho's with all of the other stuff.

I MADE THIS RECIPE WHEN I WAS ON THE RUN.FOR THE LITTLE TIME IT TOOK TO MAKE IT TASTED GREAT.EVEN MY PICKIEST EATER LOVED IT.I'LL MAKE IT AGAIN.

Excellent. Because of my 2 1/2 year old I added the salsa and some lettuce as a topping. I used cumin and chilli powder in the meat. Worked out well.

After searching the web for something different to make for a Friday night appetizer, I came across this recipe. WOW!! It was truly delicious. My husband is a real picky eater and he loved it. This will be served in my home on a regular basis. Thanks Kraft!!!!
