This was a hit with my family on the 4th of July. Such simple ingredients, but it blended so well together. You really could use this recipe for any holiday -- just change the shape of the cream cheese and decorate accordingly. YUM!
This is such an awesome recipe! Everyone at my 4th of July party loved it and it made me look so creative! Thanx Kraft! I also mixed the taco seasoning into the cheese. Yummy! So easy to make, I'll be making this again really soon!!!!
This was great and impressive for the 4th! **Important tips: *Pam spray the wax paper do prevent sticking cream cheese! * Drain salsa juice to prevent running! * Cut off corner of zip lock sandwich bag and pipe salsa into perfect rows! *Roll out cream cheese, but then use a knife to make perfect rectangle.
It was great! Everyone enjoyed it!
I couldn't get the cheese along the sides with any ease. Also, I think I will mix in some flavors instead of just cream cheese.
This was fantastic. Easy to make and liked by all. Along with the crackers I had celery and carrot sticks.
This was not easy to make, inverting the spread cream cheese? It just did not work. I ended up serving it in a 13x9 clear glass dish. The taste was so bland! All you tasted was cream cheese! Way better dips out there - prettier to look at better tasting!
For a little more flavor, I mixed the cream cheese with 1/2 a packet of taco seasoning. To make the red and white stripes, I alternated stripes of salsa and shredded mozzerella cheese. I served it with crackers and tortilla chips. Absolutely delicious!
I made the fruit version but due to nut allergies we used crushed graham cracker in place of the walnuts. Yum!
This is great for any party. I use a glass bowl for the dip, which is MUCH EASIER! Take 1 pkg of cream cheese to 8+ oz of chuncky salsa and mix until creamy (5 min). Layer dip with a layer of shredded cheddar cheese, sliced black olives and chopped green onion. Add another layer (usually have 2), etc. I serve this dip with fritos and NEVER have leftovers!
