Blintz Brunch Bake

Was beautiful, but tasted very bland. I even added extra lemon.

I love this recipe! Its not too sweet and very light fluffy. I add fresh or canned sliced peaches to the bottom of the dish before i bake it and it comes out wonderfully.

It's just better than I expected. The cheesy flavor is great and the crust is delicious. I put some blueberry syrup on top.

I have made this recipe over and over again - it's that good. Be aware that the recipe says bake 45 minutez OR UNTIL CENTER IS SET which means it often takes longer than 45 minutes. If you bake it in a metal pan you mus turn up the heat a little as well. Mine never turns out quite as pretty as the photo but nobody ever minds. I have even made these in a muffin pan with a fee fresh blueberries on top of each. This is such a satisfying desssert or brunch item. I do add more lemon juice than called for because the lemon flavor just goes so well with the other ingredients. Once you get the hang of cooking this, you'll make it often.

I made 1/2 the recipe. Turned out great! I loved the lemon taste . . . may even add more lemon next time.

I cooked this a lot longer than it said at least 20 minutes more and it never got brown on top and the middle was gooey.

I have made this for years with a variation though:I used 2 cans of cresent rolls as a crust and topped with a can of cherry pie filling. I served it as a dessert and it is always a huge hit.

I agree with some other reviewers that the taste is somewhat eggy and sour. It's also quite heavy for a breakfast dish. It's much more like a cheesecake than I expected. I made this for a morning meeting, and there was a lot left over meaning it was not a hit.

This Blintz Brunch Cake has been a delightful surprise to every one of my guests, it looks very innocent, however, the taste is decedent! You cannot beat easy and tastey; put slices on a lace doilly, and you can add elegant to the list of good things about this recipe! Thank you KRAFT!!
