been making this recipe for many years. always a big hit. tastes as great as it looks.
Always get asked to make it again or for the recipe. It looks great and tastes better.
This is an absolute favorite of my family and friends. One night I made a double batch to have leftovers for a friend who couldn't make it to a gathering. He admitted to eating the entire thing! I personally think that using refried BLACK beans is a key to the great taste. I've tried it with refried pinto, and it is still good, but not the same. I've also tried seasons refried beans, but it is also not quite the same. For my picky vegetable phobic friends, I usually only put the onions and tomato on only one side. Don't count on having any leftovers from this dip! I love that it doesn't need to be baked, so I can make it ahead of time (usually just the beans and sour cream, then add the rest closer to serving time) and don't need to worry about keeping it hot if I take it somewhere. You will be asked to make this again!!
This was the first time I made this recipe. I was looking for a low-calorie version and this sounded perfect. I loved it! I might try using the fat-free refried beans next time instead of the black refriend beans.
Tremendous hit at the anniversary party. It disappeared rapidly.
I have tried this several times and it tastes great. Dip
This was delicious! I added one more layer of guacamole, but I think the best part is the seasoned black beans! Delicious and people were scraping the plate! Will be making again and again!
I doubled this recipe and put one packet of Chipolte taco seasoning in the refried beans and one packet in the sour cream for an extra kick. Very easy to make and it was gone quickly.
So easy to make and a big hit at the party!
It was delicious, and so simple to prepare. I love it !!!!
