This was a wonderful, easy spread to make. I served it for my children as an after school snack, and also as a buffet table item for my ladies Bible group. Everyone love it. I added some Vanilla.

After chopping apple with peels, I added 1 tablespoon of fresh lemon juice to prevent discoloring of apple . This prolonged unused spread for serving the next day on breakfast muffins & bagels.

I thought this might be good on bagels and I was right. You can put it on plain or cinnamon, it's great on both. Thank you for another good use of apples in the fall.

I also added finely chopped pecans, then placed it in a small bowl surrounded by Cinnamon Graham Crackers. Frienda were able to spread their own amount onto the crackers.
