It says how to make the sauce in the Preheating instructions.

THERE IS A WAY TO KEEP ANY MEAT TENDER AND JUICY, I ALWAYS COOK IN THE REYNOLDS FOIL BAGS, IT KEEPS MOIST AND COOKS IN THE JUICES, INSTEAD OF USING A ROASTING PAN W/ FOIL ON IT, AND ALSO DONT PUT VEGGIES IN TILL 40 MIN BEFORE SERVING, OR THEY GET MUSHY.........

In reference to a cook on 1/3/2006, the first instruction in the recipe is to mix the A1 sauce, soup mix and water, thus making the steak sauce mixture.

You refer to a steak sauce mixture in the recipe. However, you do not describe of what the mixture consists. One could assume that it consists of the water, the A-1 steak sauce, and the dry soup mix, however there is no such instruction in the recipe. I would think that the pot roast is superb. However, the recipe is lacking instructions.

I have been looking for a way to spruce up roast because it was not very appealing to my family. After using this recipe I was asked when could I make it again.

I thaught the recipe was great. Instead of steak sauce, I used a can of cream of mushroom soup. It came out very flavorfull. :)

This was a very good recipe. My family loved it. With the potatoes and carrots I added frozen string beans. I came out very colorful and tasty. I will definitely try this recipe again.

I WOULD NOT USE THE STEAK SAUCE AGAIN IN THIS RECIPE BECAUSE IT MADE THE VEGETABLES TOO DARK AND I WAS NOT FOND OF THE SAUCE TASTE-OTHERWISE IT WOULD BE VERY GOOD. I WOULD ALSO ADD SALT, PEPPER, GARLIC AND ADD A FRESH ONION CUT UP. THE GRAVY WAS GOOD WITH THE ONION I ADDED TO IT. IT IS A GOOD SUNDAY DINNER WITH THE CHANGES.
