i took the advice i read on here and increased the amounts for the gravy. it was pretty tangy...other than that it was very good.

This is the best pot roast recipe ever!!! The meat was tender and the flavor was wonderful. You can also use a regular dry onion soup mix and any steak sauce.

I didn't care for this much. it smelled great but turned out very dry! I'm sure if i had double up on the sauce and seasoning ingredients i suppose it would have turned out moist. But, i believe in giving a recipe at least 2 tries before i toss it, so i'll make it again but this time i'll add more than what is required.

Tasted great, so easy to prepare...The A1 gave everything an awesome zest! What an easy "Sunday" supper... I'd make this one often!

My two young boys and my husband are picky eaters. But this receipe hit the spot with all three of them! I added a little more A1 and water to have more pan gravy. They all ate seconds and especially loved the carrots!

My husband and 2-year old are both very picky eaters. My husband demanded that I make this again soon. And my 2-year old finally ate pot roast for the first time so i know it was good. thanks for such a good recipe.

Very Savory!!! So nice to put dinner in the oven and forget about it for 2 hours - not to mention a clean pan when dinner's done! The A-1(bold & spicy) gave the gravy an excellent flavor. Great, great recipe. Thanks!

Very good!! And simple, just what I look for. I don't like complicated recipes... too many ingredients to use. This was perfect, and didn't lack any flavor!!!

i have always used the baking bag and i thought that was the best. it was simple. BUT this recipe is just as easy and has alot more flavor. i will use this method from here on out!
