Did add the mustard/ flour/browning and the onion soup mix as previously recommended. The A-1 sauce added a great flavor as well. Very tender and most importantly...tasty!!

I wasn't sure if I was going to make this or not as I am not a fan of A1 sauce - turns out, I am pleased I did. I used a little under 1/3 cup of A1 with onion soup mix. I also added whole fresh mushrooms to the pan and seasoned everything with salt and fresh cracked pepper. The whole dish turned out perfect. My Husband loved it. This recipe is a definate keeper.

This was a very flavorful and tender roast. I rubbed some Dijon mustard on the roast, sprinkled some flour over it and then seared the meat in olive oil and butter. I used the dried onion soup mix, 3/4 cup of water and 1/4 cup of A-1. I will definitely make this recipe again and again.

This recipe was delicious and so easy! I used dry onion soup mix rather than the mushroom-onion mix. Then I added a can of mushrooms and used the liquid in the can in place of the water called for in the recipe. My family loved it!

I made this Pot Roast for Sunday dinner last night for my family and friends and boy oh boy it was a big hit! Although I did use the onion/mushroom mix I also seasoned my meat with seasoned salt and pepper and I added fresh garlic. The taste was just right.
