I made this cheese cake for our holiday luncheon at work. It was delicious but semi-sweet chocolate was a lttle too bitter for my taste in this recipe. I am considering using the Baker's sweet chocolate next time. I also had the butter or oreo cream filing leak out but since I place a pan of water on the rack below whenever baking a cheese cake, I did not have the clean up to do.

I too made this wonderful recipe. I crushed oreo cookies and used them as the crust which was great. The butter on mine also run out all over my oven. I had originally throught it was the creme from the cookies. Now I know for the next time I make it that it was the butter.

I made this cheesecake for Thanksgiving and everyone loved it. The only problem was when it was baking the butter dripped out of the springform pan all over the oven. I'd definitely make it again, but change the crust.

I thought this cheesecake was delicious. I made it for my class at school and everyone loved it. I will definately make it again. I had a problem with the butter from the crust leaking out of the springform pan. Any suggestions on how I can fix that?

This recipe was not very good. My caramel did not set up at all. I had some Turtle Cheesecake for my birthday and this did not rate well at all. My husband liked it, but I was horribly disappointed. I will make regular cheesecake next time and add the caramel and pecans. Also, the chocolate was way too much. I will use much less next time.

This was a good recipe. I substituted caramel sauce as suggested. I do not think the crust was thick enough or maybe I used too much caramel sauce because my crust was a gooey chocolate, caramel and pecan mixture. One side of the crust was fine the other had caved and seeped caramel all over my oven. I will try it again with some minor changes and I am sure it will be great.

I made this for Thanksgiving and EVERYONE raved about it! I now have a dessert that I'm going to have to make at every family function. The best part (besides eating it) was how absolutely EASY it was to make!
