This recipe is awesome and very easy to make! I used frozen strawberries, but I think it would have been better to use fresh. I added Fat Free Cool Whip on top as an added treat!

This was a great recipe with these changes - I didn't have apple juice, so I used orange juice, Cut the sugar to 1/4 cup. It was wonderful and I will make it again ... my way!!!

I have always made this recipe with fresh picked blueberries and strawberry jello. It is a cool and refreshing dessert on a hot summer day and always at hit at summer cookouts.

I've also made this recipe with peach jello and fresh peaches, just make sure to let the peaches sit on a paper towel so some of the moisture is absorbed, or cut back on the juice/water a little bit. Otherwise, it won't set right. You should also let the hot jello mixture cool to room temperature before adding it to the pie crust.

This is also good using blackberries & blackberry jello or raspberries & raspberry jello.

I'm on a low carb diet so I used sugar free diet soda (made with Splenda), sugar free Jello and Splenda instead of sugar. The Dream whip is low carb too, so this is a perfect way to have something sweet that doesn't threaten your diet.

I made the recipe using water instead of apple juice to cut down the acid...took overnight to set. It's as pretty as a picture!
