We had another dinner to go to so I made it again with the brandy. It was great. I think I prefer it with orange juice and adding the cinnamon and pecans, but the brandied cranberries were a big hit too. I will be making this for gifts this Christmas.

An absolutely wonderful addition to our table during the Holidays. Excellent when served with turkey, ham or pork. It also makes a wonderfu topping for vanilla ice cream.

Be very careful when you stir the cranberries--some of them will explode and splash HOT juice which can hit your face. I used orange juice and the taste was good.

AWESOME!! I just made it - my first try at making cranberry sauce of any style. It was extremely easy, didn't have to cleanup any splatter or watch over any pots. It tasted great before the 3rd ingredient; tasted a little strong right after it was added; tasted perfect after it sat a little while. [I didn't have brandy so used Hennessey Cognac.] I only wonder how long it will keep in the fridge? Can I jar it safely in a water bath for gifts?

This was a huge hit at Thanksgiving. I had several requests for the recipe. I used half OJ and half brandy and it was great with the turkey. I would recommend this recipe to anyone.

I made this for the first time this Thanksgiving, after usually always buying canned cranberry sauce. Made it with brandy. Loved it! It was very easy, but also delicious, and very attractive when served. This is one I'll make again and again!

I make this every year. It is the easiest cranberry sauce and can be used for so many different kinds of recipes. My kids call it "Cranberry Jam"
