My mom would always make it for the holiday so i grew up with it and i continue to serve it
This is a great recipe. I have to make this for my family every holiday since I am always in charge of appetizers.
This recipe is so easy and is always a party favorite. I never have much leftover and always get compliments. I have given the recipe out at every gathering I take it to.
Everyone I made this recipe for as a gift couldn't wait to serve it themselves.
I made this for a Christmas office party it went over very well. I add more red pepper than what it called for. Next time I will add some garlic powder and some canned crab meat to it and omit the salt. It does not harden like a store bought one but it was very good otherwise.
This is always a party favorite. Everyone always wants the recipe. We shape the cheese in a log shape. You can make it in advance. After wrapping in plastic wrap, we wrap in aluminum foil and chill in refrig. Then we wrap it in Christmas material and tie it off with red ribbon and bring it to a party with crackers. It's a big hit!
Everyone loved this cheese ball and it was very easy to make. I shaped it into a wreath for a Christmas party and cut a bow out of left over red bell pepper. This one is a keeper.
I toasted the pecans before I rolled the cheese mixture in them. It made for a wonderfully crunchiness opposing the softness of the chees mixture! Pat S. Virginia
I made this recipe many, many years ago and loved it! Forgot about it until I had a party recently and was so happy to find it at your web site. Everyone raved about it!! I would recommend when making this recipe that the cream cheese is allowed to get nice and soft so it blends easier.
Our family raved over this cheeseball, it is also great to serve with three inch celery as cheese stuffed celery boats.
