My husband and I loved this! He was skeptical when I told him it was "pumpkin" pasta but loved it once he tried it. My kids however found the nutmeg and cayenne to be too spicy. Great for the two of us though.
I didn't like it too much, but my mom and my boyfriend did. It has a spicy kick to it. I thought it was a little much, and it could've used more of a cheese flavor. Give it a try if you like different flavors, but like others have said...NOT FOR PICKY EATERS!!!!!!
Was a good dish for a change of pace. To make the sauce thin enough and smooth I added an extra cup of milk to it. My husband and kids ate it and liked it. We would make it again.
This just wasn't very good. I really like pumpkin but flavor of this was just strange. Husband and kids wouldn't eat it either. We ended up tossing it.
This is the worst pasta dish ever. Not only did it look bad, but it tasted nasty. The pumpkin was very overpowering, it was all we could taste, which pumpkin does not taste good. Me and my husband both threw it in the garbage and had cereal for dinner.
Rich and beyond ah-mazing! I absolutly loved this dish! My mom loves to try the foods I make and when she heard pumpkin sauce she hesitated a little. However when she tasted the ridh delicious sauce she couldnt get enough! My dad loved it also and so with my grandma who despies pumpkin pie! The dish was rich in flavor and laid very heavy in your stomach, I reccomend adding more milk and maybe less cream cheese and pumpkin iot was a tad thick.
I just made this earlier today and it was quite good. I'm a big fan of pumpkin and I jump at the chance to try any new recipes that include pumpkin. I plan to make this again, and possibly toss in some grilled chicken to give the dish some added balance. My family found the sauce to be very rich, but the spice of the red pepper was nice, and next time I would add some extra.
I didn't feel the noodles, pumpkin and spice really went together very well. I thought it was an interesting taste but my husband HATED it. If you have picky eaters do not make this.
Delicious! I'll definitely make this again. I sauteed onions with the butter, and used more cayenne than the recipe calls for. I also added some coarse ground black pepper right before serving.
My husband was very reluctant about eating this, but he loved it! I sauteed onions with the butter and added a drop of Tastefully Simple's seasoned salt. I could have used less red pepper, it came a little spicy but was very good. I would make it again!
