I'm SO glad I came across this recipe! Super easy to make, quick clean up, and the foil in the pan was definitely a brilliant idea. The brownies were soft, rich, gooey, and...read more

This was my first time making brownies and the end result was a success. I made these brownies as my main dessert for my Valentine's Day dinner and my guest had no complaints :) I added a little twist at the end, which I encourage everyone (who isn't counting caloreis lol) to try. Once the brownies ar cooled, cut a sizeable piece and place it in the microwave for 1-2 mins. or until warm. Then top with 1-2 scoops of your favorite flavored ice cream, whip cream and chocolate syrup. The flavor of the hot brownie mixed witht he cold ice cream is delicious! On ething I would also advise when makingthe brownies is to butter the pan on the bottom and sides really well to avoid some sticking that i ran into. overall 5+++ recipe :)

Easy to teach a child to make, but careful with the melting. Very chocolate-y and easy to add to. I used an 8x8 pan on accident and had to add 30 minutes, but still really good--addictive!! (always check for doneness with a pick)

very good, be sure to bake it only 30 minutes, i also cut the sugar to one and half cups and instead of pecans used almonds.

This recipe was a huge disappointment. After reading so many raving reviews of a brownie that disappears off a plate, I was sure the consistency would be a crowd-pleasing chewy and chocolately. I was left with a fudgy, way too moist, brown mess. I took them out of the oven at 32 minutes. The recipe calls for 30-35. The way they turned out, I doubt 40 minutes would have done anything different to help the consistency.

I have used the recipe that came on the box years ago- and still may for eons. I just moved from MT to MS and my things are in storage. So, I found this on the net yesterday when I needed to make brownies. I was concerned that the recipe contained no baking power, which I'm sure my old one did. Consulting another recipe, I added 1/2 t. BP and they turned out fine. Did you intend to leave out BP? <<< Response from Kraft Kitchens Expert, Mary ~ Baker's One Bowl Brownies has never had baking powder. >>>

These brownies are the best I have ever made from "scratch" and better than any boxed mix. My family doesn't like nuts in their brownies so I added a cup of peanut butter chips. They went very well with the chocolate. Heat in the microwave for 10 seconds and they are even more delicious. Chocolatey and gooey, just the way I like them.

I have been making this recipe for at least 17 years. They "always" go over big! For potlucks, etc. I am always asked for MY brownies. I caution when I give this recipe to others to be sure to not overbake, as it will dry them out. I always add a cup of chocolate chips and (nuts on occasion.) I NEVER use a mix because these are SO much better and just as easy and certainly less expensive.

These brownies are absolutely the BEST and easiest. I have made them for years and everyone loves them!

I not only make these brownies, but give friends boxes of your chocholate to make the brownies themselves. There is no other brownie in the world worth eating. Plus they take minutes to make. It doesn't get any easier than this.
