Originally, I made this cake back in Sept. 04 and have since made it several times. This recipe was both simple, who wants an everyday "box" cake, and delicious. It was so good in fact, the first time I made it, that it never had icing put on it. We ate it plain with coffee or milk.
I'm making it again, but this time we're going over the top! I'm going to fill the middle with a fresh, homemade, cranberry sauce and then ice it with a cream cheese, chocolate icing (if I can find my recipe for the frosting).
