So easy. I made it with chicken and turkey breast with swiss and american cheese. My husband and kids loved it. Yummy and easy.

I have made this recipe many times using a variety of fillings. My favorite is ham and cheese, but I made a thinly sliced beef and cheese today - spreading the dough with mustard and horseradish - to rave reviews. I usually spread the dough with mustard, sometimes adding finely chopped red or green peppers. I slice the roll in 1/2" slices and thereby get many servings to use as appetizers. This is always one of the first items to disappear from my table. A great recipe and I highly recommend it. Only negative comment I have is it tends to brown more quickly on the outside before it gets thoroughly cooked on the inside, so I usually turn down the oven a bit, bake it about 10 minutes longer and cover it with foil for the last 15 minutes or so.

Good taste! Take your time - took me longer than 10 minutes to prepare it... but it was a hit!

This was a good base recipe to play around with ingredients you like. I used pepper ham, salami, provolone & mozzarella along with some dried oregano. It came out fantastic and was a big hit at a party I had. I'll be making this one again for sure!

I made two for my daughters 1st birthday, one with ham and one with turkey and they were a hit! In fact my neighbor made one later for a get together at her house. The kids love dipping them in marinara sauce. :)

This was very good. I added pepperoni instead of the ham and it was a hit.
