Black Bottom-Banana Cream Pie

Black Bottom-Banana Cream Pie recipe
Classic diner cream pie meets state fair midway treat, and a star is born. It's like a chocolate-dipped banana, only with a crust instead of a stick.

I make this all time! It is simple and tastes great! As for the chocolate getting hard: you should let the pie sit out for 15 mins or so before eating.

This pie was too hard to eat. The chocolate gets so hard on the bottom which makes it difficult to slice with your fork. It's a very noisy dessert when your fork finally makes it through to the bottom of the plate!

Awesome! I make this regularly - my family asks for it. It's so easy and has just the right blend of flavors to melt in your mouth.

I have made this pie several times, I still have people asking me to make it again. I tried both the Nilla wafer crust and also made it with an oreo crust. (Both premade) This pie recipe is a keeper.

This recipe is very easy to make. I bought the 'nilla pie crust and then just crushed a few wafers in the pudding. The chocolate will set up hard after a day in the fridge, so it will be hard to cut but still delish and very easy.
