The worst cheesecake I have ever had. My family hated it too. It was grainy and tasted like a bad quiche with the eggs and all. I will never make this again and I suggest that no one else ever makes this horrible cheesecake!
I have made this cheesecake many times and it's always a favorite. I'm asked to make it for almost every holiday.
Made this for Thanksgiving and everyone loved it and took all of it home, left me one piece. It is demanded that I make it for Christmas. Absolutely great!!!

i have made this recipe a few times and everytime it seems to flow over my springform pan. then the top seems to get a weird skin on it. it doesn't seem to affect the taste too much, and people tend to eat it anyway. i think i might reduce the amount of sour cream used in the future makes it a little too tangy for the people in my family.
This was the first time I made a cheese cake. I never thought I could make one even though I have been cooking for years. I found your recipe yesterday and thought I would give it a try. It was a hit with the family. I will be using this recipe again. Thanks Lindy261
It's great to be able to say you can make a delicious cheesecake from scratch! The first time I made this however, it did not bake through all the way. So, the 2nd time I beefed up the temp and baking time just to make sure it was finished. Turned out wonderfully. Thanks!!
I made this recipe last year on Thanksgiving. It is now my tradition. Something different from pie.
