It was suprisingly simple to make....I made one batch with the brown sugar and the rest with white sugar...I liked it better with the white sugar the colors seemed to stand out more...It reminded me of my childhood..I hadnt seen candied popcorn in years so it was a pleasure to make this and be able to introduce it to my niece..I made berry blue, lime, orange and strawberry...I think it would be a great holiday gift idea...

I have made this recipe using variations on several occasions. Blue Raspberry and Lime for Easter, Cranberry with chopped dried cranberries and cashews at Christmas and a rainbow of flavors for the end of school party. This is a crowd pleaser. Everyone likes caramel corn and this terrific twist on an old standard makes what everyone likes into what everyone loves.

I've made a several batches, each one a different flavor. Then I mixed together to make a rainbow mixture. We brought this as a birthday treat to school and the kids just loved it.
