I made this as Christmas gifts for my extended family. They turned out great and everyone loved it! I would suggest if you have a heatproof rubber spatula to use that as the coating won't stick to it as much! Also using white sugar brings out a brighter color on the popcorn.

I eliminated the nuts (allergies) and sugar, and it worked just as well, along with cutting calories. I would suggest spraying the foil or wax paper as this is a VERY sticky recipe. It's great for gatherings, and kids LOVE it!

I love this! This Colorful popcorn is what I remember as a young teen at the local Mall. Now my kids love it . And it comes from home! How cool is that!!! Thank you! Wendi

Found not only kids love this but so do adults, made it for oldest son to take into work for Valentines day. They would like more!!! Used strawberry so it would be red plus added a few drops of food coloring to deepen color. I also used cashews and peanuts that had been sugar coated.
