The recipe may well be good, but it's not Viennese.
My family come from Vienna and the only flavouring that is sometimes added to coffee is fig extract (Feigenkaffee). This was formerly added because of its vaguely coffeelike flavour and as a method of stretching out expensive coffee. With the rise of living standards, it has declined. There are one or two Viennese coffee varieties where cinnamon is sprinkled on top of the coffee, but it is NEVER added to the coffee.
