What You Need

1-1/2

cups HONEY MAID Graham Cracker Crumbs

1/2

cup butter or margarine, melted

can (14 oz.) EAGLE BRAND® Sweetened Condensed Milk

pkg. (4 oz. each) BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate, coarsely chopped

1-1/3

cups BAKER'S ANGEL FLAKE Coconut

cup chopped PLANTERS Pecans

Make It

HEAT oven to 350°F.

MIX graham crumbs and butter; press onto bottom of 13x9-inch pan sprayed with cooking spray.

POUR condensed milk over crust; top with layers of remaining ingredients. Press nuts lightly into coconut layer.

BAKE 30 min. or until lightly browned. Immediately run knife around edge of pan to loosen dessert from sides of pan. Cool completely before cutting into bars.

I enjoyed making and eating the easy cookie bars. I made them this morning before I went to work for a Brunch. Everyone loved and several of my co-workers asked for the recipe.

THESE BARS ARE PRETTY EASY TO MAKE, THE FIRST TIME I MADE THEM WAS IN HOME EC CLASS IN HIGH SCHOOL. TO THIS DAY THEY ARE MY FAVORITES.

These cookie bars should be renamed "Impossible to Ruin Cookie Bars" The second time I made them I forgot to add the sweetened condensed milk. I remembered during the last 10 minutes of baking and poured it on. They were still delicious! My family loves them and we will make them again and again.
