Cowboy Kabobs

Cowboy Kabobs recipe
Everything—maybe especially steak—tastes better on a stick. These kabobs are marinated in two sauces, plus horseradish, for a smart dish your posse's gonna love.

For less tender cuts, I recommend brushing with Kitchen Bouquet before brushing on the recipe sauce. It doesn't add flavor, but it tenderizes fantastically and helps seal in meat juices. Also, alternate with par-boiled potatoes, peppers, cherry tomatoes and pieces of pineapple. A whole meal on a stick!

My better half LOVES A-1 - I have this sauce all made up and in the fridge so he can use it on what ever he cookin'up. I tried the sauce as soon as the recipe arrived in my mail box, so I could have it ready as a suprise when he got home from 12 hours in his truck. He is delighted ! Thanks - this one is really a winner !

I plan on making this recipe over the Memorial Day weekend - sounds good. However, I'm going to put more peppers, onion and mushrooms on separate "sticks" because I find the veggies cook much faster than the meat.

we don't like green pepper so I substituted chunks of zucchini for them. Works very well.

I like this recipe, very good! I make it with curried rice, too.
