I made this easily, and it was a hit at our get-together!! Really good for taking to events as easy to transport once cold.

I gave it a 3 because it was such a mess to make and took almost 2 hours from start to finish. It tastes very close to the chocolate toffee bits you can buy at the store. I liked this receipe, but its not my favorite.

These were SO rich, they tasted like candy and my whole family loved them! One tip though - don't refrigerate before cutting them into bars, they get too hard. Just let them set on the counter or in a cool place, cut and THEN refrigerate! :-)

VERY good! They are a little hard when they first come out of the fridge (wouldn't recommend them until they softened!) - VERY VERY yummy! Everyone who ate them, LOVED them!!!

Very tasty! A little putsy if in a hurry, but worth the effort when time allows.

These are fabulous - taste like they came from an upscale bakery where they would charge $3.00 a square. Be sure to use butter and not a spread. I used more nuts and be sure to take the time to toast them.

As long as it took to prep, cook and cool down -- I would not do this one again. It had an ok taste, but I've had MUCH better from Kraft (i.e., Layered Chocolate-Peanut Butter Bars) YUMMY

I thought that the crust, and the upper part was very hard to make. I thought that chopping the chocolate squares was very hard also. The whole bar was very hard to eat. I would NOT make this recipe EVER AGAIN. carguynjl 12/16/2004
