This is a very satisfying and family pleasing recipe. In addition to the regular ingredients, I add an extra layer consisting of 1 cup chopped sauteed onions(w/3 tbps. butter) and 8 ozs. of sour cream (mixed together). Then I top with the spaghetti/meat sauce and cheese. It compliments the recipe quite nicely. My children aren't big onion fans, but it is so subtle that they even like it.
