very good--fun to make
very easy and a great hit for christmas gifts
I made these for a potluck of Dietitians and everyone loved them! (And this crowd is hard to impress!!!) They were fun and easy to make, although rolling the truffles made a chocolatey mess on our hands!
This recipe is fantastic. It is very easy to make and is a big hit with everyone. You will not be disappointed.
wonderful--so light and creamy! They are on my "good anytime of year " list!!
I loved this recipe. This recipe was a big hit at my house it also made a nice little christmas gift for my card players. This recipe travels very well I shipped to Florida and it was a big hit there.
I make at least 10 cookie recipes for Christmas every year and try 3 or 4 new ones mixed in with the tried and true. The new hit this year was the Chocolate Peanut Butter Truffles. I used the Cool Whip extra creamy and the end result was as good as most and better than many store bought truffels I have tried. Not only will I make this recipe a must every Christmas season, I plan to make it for Valentine's Day and any other occasion. I printed it out for 4 other people, too. It definately was a HIT!!!!!!!
This recipe was so aware that it takes longer than the time given, but is well worth it. They are creamy and just perfect. I took them to a party and everyone loved them. I also bought a box of grahm cracker crumbs and rolled some truffles in that...makes a great topping. I also coated them in powdered sugar, cocoa, and diced pecans. WONDERFUL!
I rolled them in powdered sugar, cocoa, and sprinkles. I would not make them again because I do not like peanut butter candy, but I gave them out for Christmas and most everyone liked them. Powdered sugar was the overall favorite but I liked the cocoa. It made the truffles more bitter. They definitely had that distinct truffle flavor.
