This was loved by everyone. It was a little sticky to roll into balls, the melonball didn't work with me. So I was constantly washing my hands and valuable chocholate! I did the balls and then after done, rolled them in the various toppings.

Rolling each ball is a bit tedious but I rolled them all out first. I used a muffin pan (12 cup) to hold each topping and rolled each ball. Some other toppings I used besides what is mentioned is cinnamon (and then roll in coconut!), crushed pretzels, shredded white chocolate. This recipe will be very useful especilly during the holidays!

In answer to Evelyn's problem with sticky candy/dough. Try using a melon baller and dip it into cocoa powder, dip into dough to form the balls. The cocoa method helps a little. I usually make the balls next to the sink..shape, roll, rinse and dry.

very hard to roll and to stay firm, as hands get ho and balls melt. Any suggestions on how to make less messier

They are so good & easy to make. I made them as an addition to a Christmas gift, put them in small baking cups. They were very attractive as well as delicious.

I made these for an office get together at work and everyone raved over them. The truffles looked so pretty and colorful and were one of the the goodies to go. A real breeze to make, I will definitely make them for my next Christmas party.

Eat these right out the freezer and they are WONDERFUL! People can't quit sneaking one right after another. Making them this weekend for a bridal shower and the bride's mom can't wait!
