Makes 6 doz. or 18 servings.

What You Need

pkg. (4 oz. each) BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate, broken into pieces

1/2

cup PLANTERS Creamy Peanut Butter

tub (8 oz.) COOL WHIP Whipped Topping, thawed

cup powdered sugar

Make It

MICROWAVE chocolate in large microwaveable bowl on HIGH 2 min. or until chocolate is almost melted, stirring after 1 min. Stir until chocolate is completely melted.

STIR in peanut butter until well blended. Cool to room temperature. Gently stir in COOL WHIP. Refrigerate 1 hour.

SCOOP peanut butter mixture with melon baller or teaspoon, then shape into 1-inch balls. Roll in sugar. Store in tightly covered container in refrigerator.

Variation

Instead of rolling these easy-to-make truffles in the powdered sugar, coat them with one or more of the following coatings: unsweetened cocoa powder, chopped PLANTERS COCKTAIL Peanuts, multi-colored sprinkles or BAKER'S ANGEL FLAKE Coconut. Wrap and give as gifts or serve at your next special occasion.

Easy Truffle Squares

Line 8-inch square pan with foil, with ends of foil extending over sides. Prepare truffle mixture as directed. Spread into pan. Refrigerate 1 hour. Use foil handles to remove truffle mixture from pan; cut into 1-inch squares. Press squares in suggested coatings, turning to evenly coat all sides of each square. Makes 16 servings, 4 squares each.

RAVE REVIEWS by everyone who tried them! I made this recipe with a few changes. I used 12-oz. bag of good semi-sweet morsels instead of bakers chocolate in the mix and I poured the mix into a foil-lined 8 x 8 pan and then chilled. Cut into squares and dipped one side in different toppings: chopped nuts, decorative sprinkles, coconut, cocoa - my fave!, powdered sugar. Limited mess work! The assortment makes a nice presentation on a holiday plate.

Though a little messy (wear gloves!) these all turned out SOOO good! I made the powdered sugar ones, pecan, peanut, coconut and powdered chocolate ones and they were all delich!

These are awesome truffles! They are delicious! I noticed some of the other posters said they were really messy, but I used one of those tiny ice cream scoops used to make cookies, and it was a breeze.

Very good but very rich. Makes a great gift for someone with a chocolate fetish. The are extremely messy though!! When I made these up, I chose to coat them in powered sugar, chopped peanuts, cocoa powder, and at Christmas time, chopped candy cane. I also made mine smaller than what the recipe called for because again, they are very rich.

I made these last minute the day before a potluck. All my friends loved them! They even said we should sell them, lol. I would definitely make these again!

These are fantastic! We now make them every year at Christmas time. Easy and yummy for adults and the kids.
