Cheesy Beef-Corn Chip Skillet

What You Need

lb. ground beef

small onion, chopped

3/4

cup water

pkg. (1-1/4 oz.) TACO BELL® Taco Seasoning Mix

cups corn chips

1/4

lb. (4 oz.) VELVEETA®, cut into 1/2-inch cubes

cups shredded lettuce

tomatoes, chopped

Make It

BROWN meat with onions in large skillet; drain. Stir in water and seasoning mix; cook as directed on package.

TOP with chips and VELVEETA; cover. Cook on low heat 5 min. or until VELVEETA is melted.

COVER with lettuce and tomatoes.

this is a great recipe so simple and very tasty too. Instead of velveeta i used cheddar cheese it was wonderfull that way. I think montery jack cheese would taste good too

this is a great shortcut meal. Not salty,as corn chips have a lot of salt. taco seasoning is good, pick it up with a pinch of mexican oregano,then after you have completed cooking in the skillet, sprinkle new KRAFT AMERICAN CHEDDAR CHEESE on top, then place sour cream and black olives. omit the VELVEETA.
